  6. The graphics and opening screens will not display
  7. properly on systems using CGA, EGA or large-font
  8. VGA, SVGA and XGA systems.  This is due to the way
  9. Windows Help handles graphics when large fonts are
  10. selected, and you will find that 90 percent of
  11. Windows help files have the same problem.  This bug
  12. occurs on Windows 3.1/3.11 and Windows 95.  We
  13. recommend the following as a fix:

  17. If your main problem is the small size of icon titles,
  18. add the following line to your WIN.INI file under the
  19. [Desktop] section:
  20. IconTitleSize=10
  21. (or 12 for higher visibility; the default is 8)

  23. You can change this line incrementally to suit.  This
  24. should allow you to use small fonts and have better
  25. visibility of icon titles as well as graphical
  26. compatibility with Windows help tools.  You can also
  27. change the font using (for example, to use the Terminal
  28. font):
  29. IconTitleFaceName=Terminal

  31. Windows 95:
  32. ----------
  33. The same applies.  It's probably the size of your Start
  34. menu text and dialog box text that prompted you to 
  35. select large fonts.  We recommend obtaining a program 
  36. called TWEAKUI.EXE, one of the free "power tools" 
  37. from Microsoft for Win95, from Microsoft's Web site or
  38. one of several locations on the Internet.  We are not
  39. giving the URL here since Microsoft has a habit of
  40. changing its URLs with alarming frequency, messing
  41. up everyone.  Instead, try a search for:

  54. you're a heavy Windows user you will find it

  93. Re-installation of the software should solve 95
  94. percent of all problems experienced with this package.
  95. There is always the possibility that some part of this
  96. package will be incompatible with some component of
  97. your system.

  99. One particular problem you may experience is not being
  100. able to see hotspots on your monitor in color.  Some
  101. video cards do not display Windows Help hotspots properly
  102. at resolutions higher than 256 colors.  Reduce your color
  103. depth and this should solve the problem.

  105. Another problem you may experience is a corrupted WIN.INI
  106. or SYSTEM.INI file.  This can result from any number of
  107. things and is best dealt with by making regular backups
  108. of your system configuration files.  (See the Insurance
